January In Duluth On Almanac North.

This past Friday, I was fortunate enough to have the chance to be on WDSE’s Almanac North and talk about the project!

My segment of the show starts at about 19:00, but I thought the first two interviews were important, timely, and well-done — new school superintendant Bill Gronseth and a panel representing Unfair, the new anti-racism campaign in town. Definitely worth watching:

The photo below, taken by my friend Jamie, captures exactly what I was feeling right before we began. Not only am I the one asking questions most of the time — I’d never done live TV before! I was very anxious. The staff of Almanac North was kind and comforting, but I get tightly-wound before any live presentational experience.

Fortunately, after we started speaking for a couple dozen seconds, my mouth felt less convex. They were good hosts, in every sense of the word.

(Second to last day! Ah!)
